The theme was Moulin Rouge. I really tried to play with the atmosphere of a gritty late 1800s french cabaret. The model was painted from life in studio for narrative class.
Sloth, one of the seven deadly sins is part of an unfinished series of pieces narrating a violent drama. Unfortunately I probably will not get chance to finish the series any time soon.
